THEME: Exploring New and Innovative Financing Channels 

BACKGROUND 
In tandem with the strategic mission of promoting Economic Growth 
Programmes and the realisation of Development Agendas, Allied Bond 
Consulting, in year 2008, initiated the MDGs (Now SDGS) Seminar 
Series as a Private Sector initiative with the objective of building capacity 
for the realization of the landable objectives of the MDGs for Nigeria’s 
economic growth and development.

The 1st National seminar on Achieving the MDGs was held on 23rd – 25th
June, 2008 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Since them many programmes have been organized and facilitated including 
the National Workshop on Budgeting and Financing for the Attainment of the 
SDGS. This programmes have received national and international 
endorsement and applause.

As we begin the five-year countdown to 2030, it has become imperative to 
fast track measures for which financing is key. Hence, the theme of the 
Workshop:

WORKSHOP FACULTY 
Renowned Finance and Development Experts will make presentations and 
lead discussions at the workshop. They include Prof Uche Uwaleke, Dr 
Musa Yusuf Jimoh, Dr. Peter Awusa and Dr Joe Ogbaji Anyor
