Description

The “Renewed Hope Agenda” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu offers 
great prospects for the rebuilding, economic revitalization and attendant 
socio-economic upliftment of Nigeria. However, the greatest challenge in this 
direction is regulatory Authorities.

Regulatory Authorities in Nigeria are characterized by numerous infractions 
including over lapping jurisdiction and attendant conflicts, divergent 
regulatory strategies, Federal and State divide, over bearing attitude and 
practices, poor public perception, all of which do not augur well for the 
realization of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Furthermore, with globalization, the World has become one large 
community, hence, the practices of Regulatory Authorities ought to be in 
tandem with globalization.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
* To expose Regulatory Authorities to new standards, trends and 
innovation in Regulatory Practices 
* To strengthen the capacity of Regulatory Authorities towards best 
practices 
* To address inter-regulatory challenges and prevent conflicts 
* To strengthen the legal and regulatory framework of Regulatory 
Authorities
* To promote and enhance efficiency in public service delivery.

Chief Executive Officers and Directors of Regulatory Authorities at both the 
Federal and State Levels.

WORKSHOP FACULTY 
Renowned National and International Experts and Practitioners in regulatory 
affairs from both the Public and Private Sectors including the academia. 
Experts from Global Centre for Public Service Excellence, Singapore and KDI 
School of Public Policy and Management Republic of Korea and Regulatory 
Affair Professional Society.
