DELIVERABLES/BENEFITS OF THE WORKSHOP
The use of Geographic Information Systems [GIS] has revolutionized the way we analyse and manage spatial data, offering immense potentials for manpower, National and Economic Development. GIS Technology allows us to visualize, interprete and analyse data in ways that were previously unimaginable, providing valuable insights that can inform decision making processes and shape policies for sustainable development.

The use of GIS for manpower, National and Economic Development holds great promise for Countries seeking to achieve sustainable growth, social progress and prosperity for their citizens.

Therein lies the importance of GIS Technology and attendant benefits to the National and sub-national governments of  Nigeria. Hence, this Workshop.

WORKSHOP FEE: Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N250, 000.00) only per participant. This covers Training, Workshop Materials, Teal/Coffee Break, lunch and Four (4) Nights’ Accommodations in the Ultra-modern 150 rooms tastefully furnished VeraGold Hotel with dedicated power generating set and serene environment of the Public Service Institute of Nigeria.

TARGETED PARTICIPANTS: The Workshop targets the participation of policy makers, policy initiators, State GIS services and Directorate level officers in MDAs of Finance, Economic Planning, Lands Surveys and Physical Planning, infrastructure, water resources, Health, Transport, Trade & Investment, Enterprise Development, Population, Science & Technology Agriculture & Food security.
